Marcelo, LU1AET and Carlos, LU1BCE will be active as LU1ZI from the Antarctic Base "Carlini" (formerly known as Jubany) on King George Island, South Shetlands (AN-010) from 15 February to early March. They will operate SSB, CW and possibly digital modes on 80-10 metres with two stations, while a third station will be on standby for any opening on 6m. There are also plans to operate from nearby Potter Lighthouse (during the South American Lighthouses Weekend on 19-21 February) and Albatros Refuge. QSL via LU4AA (www.lu4aa.org).
