A group of operators from the Bangalore Amateur Radio Club (namely VU2GGM, VU2GSM, VU2JHM, VU2LU, VU2LX and VU2UR) has been granted permission to operate from the Lakshadweep Islands. They will be active as VU7M from Minicoy Island (AS-106) and lighthouse on 13-22 August with a "humble HF station". QSL via VU2JHM.
