DXCC prefix: C5 - The Gambia
The operators for the 16-26 January C5X DXpedition to the Gambia [425DXN 1219] now include G3VMW, G3XAQ, M0PCB and Don G3XTT, who has replaced M0DXR. Due to the LF/HF band QRM levels at the Radio Syd site, the operation has been relocated to a new site on the coast at Brufut. Plans are to have two high-power stations operating CW, SSB, RTTY and some PSK on 160-10 metres. "We are aware of the likelihood that the K1N Navassa operation will be running at around the same time as C5X", the team says, "and we will make every effort to stay well clear of their pile-ups if dates overlap".
