Once again special event station 8J1ITU will be active from 30 April to 31 May to celebrate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (17 May) and the anniversary of the creation of the International Telecommunications Union. Activity will take place from the city of Kasumigaura on Honshu Island (AS-007). QSL via the bureau and eQSL. [TNX WB6Z/JE1PTZ] will be active as JD1YBT from Chichijima (AS-031), Ogasawara on 2-11 May. They plan to be QRV on all bands and modes with up to three stations.
