The contest started on Friday night
as basically a domestic contest with
very few European signals and a few
So. American stations, Saturday
morning we experienced a good Ja
opening putting almost 70 sations in
the log.  Saturday night the band
started with a bang and many loud
Europeans were heard and worked all
evening. 

Overall this contest
allowed me to beat my best score ever
in the CQ 160 contest. Although I must
admit I am showing my age as I needed
a few hours sleep each evening just to
make it through the contest.
