Soapbox:
Was hearing stations all over the
country on 80m, but all I could work
was N6RO.
I don't quite understand
this situation, unless it's the fact
that we have an extraordinarily quiet
QTH here. Signals were weak on 40
meters, but contacts were easier to
make than some weeks. Still have
un-corrected antenna issues on that
band, awaiting an antenna master plan
for this still-new QTH.
Score was
slightly below last weeks 825, but
same number of mults.
We are still
crowding the central frequencies too
much, although there's good evidence
that some ops are spreading out.
Still, only 3 out of 16 20m Q's were
at 14038 or below. However on 40m, 9
of the 13 Q's were well away from the
center.
Ladder resumes next week.
Good luck to all and be sure to do
something fun for the 4th. But not so
fun that we don't see you back in the
ladder!
