K4XU

Untitled Document

Contester, #1 DXCC honor roll, and builder. President of Central Oregon DX Club and manager of the 7th Area QSO Party.

Started as KN1QBT in October 1960. After college I went into the Air Force and moved back to MA, passed the Extra and became W1FCC. I was out of the Air Force and working for Ten-Tec when I received K4XU as a vanity call in 1976. I have decided to stick with this one, regardless of the location. It makes for an interesting license plate collection after 50 years. When contesting, I'm disguised as N7XU.

I am a RF power MOSFET development and applications engineer after previous RF design experience at Ten-Tec, ETO and Harris Broadcast.

I do not QSL via the bureau. I will QSL 100% with your SASE.
All my logs are loaded to LOTW; no eQSL.
If we made a QSO you cannot find on LOTW, send me an email.

N7XU/m: The 2013 7QP was May 4th.

2013 7QP Results are here.

73, Dick
