Some historical info on N5AU:

Age 63. Presently Controller at Monarch Air, Addison, Texas. Former Callsigns: WA5JMK, WB5OOE. DX operations from: VP2E, VP2EC, VP2EH, VP2M, VP2MJK, VP5RFS, ZF2DT, XE1OW, 4C1QB. Constructed and operated large multi-multi contest station in Rockwall, Texas, from 1980-1992. The station and crew won multi-multi USA during the 1986 CQ WW SSB contest over the East Coast. First time a 5th call area or zone 4 station has ever done this. (may be the only time ever - no repeats so far) Currently operating most major contests at station VP2EC on Anguilla, BWI. Still active from the Rockwall QTH with greatly reduced hardware and equipment. Most of the former antennas are now installed and operating at VP2EC.

SPECIAL REQUEST:

Please work VP2EC / VP2EH during the next contest on as many bands as you can. We contest for the fun of it. It's nice to win, but it's great to operate, win or lose. If you operate, you can't lose. You only lose when you don't. It's a world-wide party...and you are definitely invited!
