PLEASE NOTE: I do not collect QSL cards, and I do not have any QSL cards to send. So please kindly do not send me your QSL. I have extremely little time available for my radio hobby. I prefer to spend whatever small amount of available time I can find (just a few days per year) either building my station or operating. I apologize to those of you who wanted my QSL card for an award or some other reason. It is just an unfortunate fact that my schedule does not allow me to have any time right now to reply to QSLs.

My interests: Emergency and disaster communications, HF DXing, and contesting.

Emergency power is provided by a Honda EU2000i generator, courtesy of Mayberry's of Port Murray, NJ. (See QST ad for ham discount.)

Most of my operations have been from areas in Ulster, Dutchess, or Kings County in New York; Somerset or Morris County, New Jersey; or Fairfield County, Connecticut, with occasional QSOs from Anchorage, Alaska and various other locations around the USA. I have guest operated during contests from (in approximate reverse chronological order): K9RS, N3RS, ZL6QH, W2RE, 4U1UN, K1TTT, W1US (sk), KH7R, KL7Y (sk), KL7FH (sk)/AL1G, K1KI, N2RM, KY2J, K5NA/2, W2XL, K2OY (sk), K2GBH, WA2SYJ (sk).

Current antennas at NNJ station are:

160m : Inverted L , 70' vertical, 70' horizontal, with 10 radials, some on the ground, some partially elevated, and variable capacitor at feedpoint

80m: 1/4 wave Wire Ground Plane with 8 elevated radials

40m: 1/4 wave Wire Ground Plane with 8 ground mounted radials

20-17-15-12-10m: Cubex 2-element Quad up 45' (14 meters) - highly recommend this antenna!

All wires are supported solely by trees using bow-and-arrow plus fishing reel to install.

Station: Yaesu FT-1000MP x 3, Acom 2000A, Alpha 87A, Commander HF-2500 (for sale), Drake B-Line (for sale)
