Hello. I was licensed in Nov. 2009. I took both the Tech and the General exam at the same time. My original call was KB1TIW and I have changed it to K1RAX. I passed the Extra exam on 3/9/2013 and can now chase some more DX :)
I was using an old desktop for logging purposes (HRD and some tinkering with digital modes) but that PC is having some issues so I've switched to using a Mac with MacloggerDX software for logging purposes. I send contacts to ClubLog in realtime and the chart above should show my latest contacts. I'm also using LoTW, and eQSL but only upload once in awhile.
I was in the Navy for 10 years and now work at a telecommunications company. I've always been interested in electronics and even some CB and shortwave listening in the past. I drifted away from the radio world in the early 1990's until a friend recently rekindled my interest when I saw his ham shack. Thanks WB2VVV!!
I return all QSL's. I was off the air for almost 2 years and had a log problem. If I owe you a card please email me and I'll get one out. My QSL cards tend to include something I've photographed and not necessarily something local to CT. I thought sharing my photographs would be more fun than just having a plain card!
I have a hexbeam at my new QTH in New Mexico and finally got new QSL cards printed. I'll be working through the pile of cards and sending mine as soon as I can!
I do run mobile sometimes. If you work me mobile please use K1RAX/M for LoTW and eQSL. I have them both setup to recognize the /M

My QSL Cards are things I've photographed (Note: I'm now in Bernalillo County, NM)
Looking forward to talking with you.
