Il faro di Punta Vagno costruito su torre cilindrica bianca, è situato a circa 1 miglio a levante dell’imboccatura del porto di Genova. La torre e’ alta 9 metri; il gruppo ottico emette 3 lampi a luce bianca ogni 15 secondi; la visibilià è pari a 18 miglia nautiche. Questo Faro( il secondo dopo la torre della Lanterna simbolo della città) è utile alle imbarcazioni che da levante dirigono verso la diga foranea del porto di Genova. The lighthouse at Punta Vagno, built on a white cylindrical tower, is located about 1 mile east of the port entrance of Genoa. The tower is 9 meters high; the optical beam emits 3 white light flashes every 15 seconds and visibility is 18 nautical miles. This lighthouse ( the second one after 'la Lanterna' also symbol of the city) is useful to ships going from the east towards the breakwater of the port of Genoa.
