Member of the Northern California Contest Club, NCCC.

Extra Class Accreditied Volunteer Examiner. I facilitate an ARRL/VEC test session semi-annually as a gesture of good will to give back to the hobby and increase the amateur radio community in my area.

My main station equipment is a Kenwood TS-450SAT, Ameritron AL-811 Amplifier upgraded with Svetlana 572B tubes, and a LDG AT-1000 Autotuner. I have three antennas covering 80m thru 10m to choose from, a Cushcraft MA5B shortened beam up 35' on a home brew roof mount, a GAP Titan DX Vertical on the side of my house, and a 80m/40m trap dipole up 31' at the apex of the inverted V that stretches from the ash tree in the front yard to the fence in the back yard.

My portable station can be seen in the article I wrote for the NCCC Newsletter, The Jug at this link beginning on page six
