Space ispretty limited here. So, I set the desk next to the 'main' 220velectrical panel (Just above the RM Italy amp).Antenna cable runs through a gap in the window to a 7 meter bamboo pole. A 2 meter length of perforated angle iron bolted to the wall and bailing wire hold the bamboo pole in place. The Buddipole antenna is mounted on the bamboo pole (but not fully extended) to get it about 2 1/2 meters above the large corregated metal roof. All in all, not the best setup, but it's a start.
- Elecraft K2
- RM Italy HLA 305A HF Linear Amp
- MFJ Mobile SWR/Wattmeter (MFJ-818)
- Buddipole Antenna
- Vibroplex Vibrokeyer
- Mingwell regulated 42 amppower supply (mounted behind desk)
- Oh...bamboo pole and bailing wire.
