If you're reading this, we probably just had a CW QSO. Born 1955. Got interested in ham radio in the 70s (thanks to Pierre, F6BLZ and Philippe, F1BYI). I work as a pharmacologist in the Research division of a pharmaceutical company located near Paris which is involved in contrast agents for medical imaging. Married to Anne-Sophie. Two beautiful children. CW enthusiast, I also enjoy CW contesting. I operate from a different island every year in April. I am QSL manager for TM6ILE (from the superb Groix Island in South Brittany, IOTA-EU-048, in 2003 and 2004, some beautiful pictures here http://ile-de-groix.info/photos/ ). I have also been TM2PHG (QSL via F5RPB), and EA1/, FM/, VE2/, OE1/, FR/ and MU/. Station: IC-746, FT-897, trapped dipole (40 - 10 m) + various home-made antennas (antenna farm quite difficult in my present QTH, unfortunately). Barefoot transmissions and sometimes QRP. Proud member of REF, Union Française des Télégraphistes (UFT, see http://www.uft.net/ ), GACW (great association for those who love the code ! see http://gacw.no-ip.org/ ), ARRL, Clipperton DX Club, IPHG (International Pharmacy Ham Group, http://iphg.malpensa.net/ ) and SOC ("The Second Class Operator's Club", see http://www.qsl.net/soc/ AGN ? AGN ?...). Needless to say, I'm 100% QSL via bureau or direct. My QTH is in Saint Mandé, a small and quiet city that adjoins Paris and a nice park, Bois de Vincennes (see map here: http://www.mairie-saint-mande.fr/stmande.asp?idpage=5130 ). There are only three radioamateurs in Saint Mandé: Jean F8UG, Jean-Pierre F6GFF and myself. Other hobbies: Russian history and literature, theatre, onomastics and swimming. See you soon on the CW subbands (most probably) !
