Il Rotary Club Siracusa Monti Climiti dal 19 Aprile 2009 al 19 Maggio 2009 sarà via etere sulle frequenze radioamatoriali per commemorare i 141° dalla nascita del fondatore del Rotary International  “PAUL HARRIS”

Il Ministro dello Sviluppo Economico* Comunicazioni  On.le  Claudio Scajola, ha autorizzato il sig. Adriano Cutrufo,socio del su indicato club, e radioamatore con patente di operatore di stazione di radioamatore conseguita nel 1981, a trasmettere con il  Nominativo Speciale IO9*ROTA,

 affinché  si possa diffondere anche via etere il nome di Paul Harris ed i nobili ideali  del Rotary International che i vari soci dei  Club di tutto il globo svolgono  in ambito personale, professionale e sociale,giorno dopo giorno, accomunati dall’ideale del servire.

 Da evidenziare il fatto che, il Superiore Ministero per la prima volta,nella storia nelle comunicazione d’amatore, ha assegna un nominativo speciale,di 4 lettere e per un periodo cos’ì lungo.

Per un mese tutti i radioamatori di tutto il mondo, potranno ascoltare e collegare sulle frequenze dei 14,21 18 e 7 Mhz IO9*ROTA ,  ed avere come conferma del collegamento una qsl commemorativa fatta stampare appositamente per tale occasione, qui allegata.

 Il Rotary Club Siracusa Monti Climiti  si sta distinguendo nell’ambito territoriale Siciliano per la sua poliedricità di iniziative  spaziando dal progetto della* Rivoluzone dei coriandoli*,iniziato sotto la presidenza del Dr. Iannitti e proseguito durante la presidenza del Dr. D’Antiochia, tale programma consisteva nel dare ai giovani extracomunitari,ma anche a tutti i soggetti svantaggiati della provincia di Siracusa,l’opportunità di studiare danza, musica, pittura  acquistando naturalmente nello stesso tempo padronanza della lingua italiana sotto il coordinamento del direttore artistico  Dr. Carlo Muratori

alla organizzazione a sfondo benefico di un concerto di musica da camera organizzato con altri 4 club dell’area Aretusea, nella stupenda chiesa del SS Salvatore a Noto, alla visita del radiotelescopio stazione VLBI, in contrada renna, relazionata dal chiarissimo Dr.Pietro Cassaro,astronomo presso il centro.

Ed in ultimo il fiore all’occhiello, sarà l’invio della  Dr. Emma Lo Magro socia del Rotaract Siracusa Monti Climiti, in Corea del Sud dal 15*04*09 al 20*05*09,in occasione del programma Scambi di gruppo della Fondazione Rotary, il quale  rappresenta un’opportunità unica di scambio culturale e professionale per giovani imprenditori e professionisti dall’età compresa tra i 25 e 40 anni d’età
