First licensed in February 1981 as KA4TAY. Upgraded and received KI4DC in November 1985. I recieved K4WW through the FCC "vanity" program in November 1996. I operate almost entirely HF and prefer contest and DX types of operation. At present RTTY is my favorite mode. I have been fortunate enough to accumulate 344 DX countries, with 344 confirmed, which qualifies me for ARRL DXCC Honor Roll. On RTTY, I have 322 worked, with 322 confirmed. I have also been fortunate to have worked 5BWAS, 5BDXCC, WAZ and WAC. My station consists of a TS-870, and an Alpha 99 amplifier.
