The base station has battery backup available through a PowerGate PG-40S and a 100AH battery which will power everything until I get my standby generator started and on line through a manual transfer switch.
Mobile Operation:

Radios- Icom IC-7000 with a 7" remote video screen mounted on the dash. The screen is mounted on a hinge so when not in use it will lay down on the dash and I cover it with a towel (color coordinated of course), Icom IC-2720H, Kenwood TM-241 and TinyTrak-3 for APRS
Tarheel Model 100 for HF operation.
Portable Operation:

Ready to go kit consisting of an IC-7000, Yaesu FT-8800, LDG AT-200 Pro autotuner, SignaLink USB sound card, Kantronics KPC-9612+ TNC, laptop computer, portable generator and assorted antennas. Able to operate Voice/Winlink/WINMOR with this self-contained setup.
Other Comments:
I enjoy casual contesting to include voice, CW and digital modes. I'm not a hard core DXer but I do have 310 enities confirmed. Working on getting my first 100 six meter confirmations as well as my 5 Band, DXCC. I am a Volunteer Examiner with the Nashville VE Team and am an Assistant EC with the the Williamson County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (WCARES)
