Thank you very much for the QSO. After 2 years and 4 months I was finally able to get my Peruvian call near the end of October 2011. I thank Srta. Maritza Sanchez Mori, Samuel OA4DNP, Pablo OA4AI, Earnest OA4CN and all the others at the club who helped me through the long and complicated process.
Until I am set up in the Radio Club Peruano I am very sorry I am not able to get cards or send cards through the bureau for my Peruvian call OA4DKW.
My N7YV USA address is in Florida. However I am for the time being in Lima, Peru and do not have have a return date to the USA at this time. I am not able to answer QSL requests sent to my Florida address.
Please keep in mind that mail to Peru even USPS Priority Mail has taken up to 5 weeks. There is no mail pickup in Peru. Mail must be personally taken to Serpost, the Peruvian Postal Service.
The postage cost for an envelope with a QSL to the USA or Europe is $2.90 and does not include the cost of the card or the envelope. To send just the card to any country costs $2.05. A QSL in an envelope to Asia costs $3.35 just for postage.
I will add more info later.
Thank you very much,
73, Roger
