UPDATE 2 AUGUST 2009
We're save back home after a week of fantastic HAM radio from the island.
What a beautiful location it is.
And of course happy to be the first one to activate this island.
As the conditions were not that good and the higher bands were often closed Nico an myself could log 8000+ qso's.
All qso's were done in SSB and a few in digital modes.
We would thank all HAM's for their calls in sometimes big pile ups!
As for the DIA (Danish Island Award) Lango will count as FY-025 (new number).
This week the qsl lay-out will go out to the printer and the cards will will be ready soon. The first direct qsl's arrived already on my doormat.
Equipment i have used during the Iota contest and DX- activation on Langø:
Kenwood TS 950SDX in combination with a Alpha 99 amplifier.
Butternut 80/40 meter vertical, FD-4 dipool 43 meter long.
Also a 10,15,20 meter vertical put into the salt sea water.
Later on the week there is also placed a vertical for the Warc bands and a 1/4 dipool for 160 meters.
