Untitled Document

Hello OM/YL,

I live in the NW part of Prince Edward Island, Canada. My home is on the sea shore which helps my antennas.

I used to enter a contest (CW/SSB/RTTY) almost every weekend. When not contesting I try to work some DX. My favorite mode is CW and second is RTTY. I build antennas when the WX is fine and repair them when it is not. My favorite band is 10M.

My equipment:
Elecraft K3 w/sub + P3

Homebrew KW or SB-220

20/15/10 -TH6DX yagi @ 57 feet
30M - full size 1/4 wave 16 radials

40M - vertical with 16 radials
6M - 5 element yagi on 40 foot boom (summer only)
Mostof my antennas have been damaged or destroyed at leastonce each year by ice and wind storms that are very common here in the winter months.

I have led three DXpeditions to Saint Paul Island (CY9SS) 1997, 1999 and 2005. In 2005 I stayed on the island for four weeks with my dog Toonie as many excellent operators came and went. I am the QSL manager for CY9SS.

QSL instructions:

US:SAE and 1 IRC or $1.00. No US stamps please.

Overseas:SAE and 1 IRC or $2.00.

If you would like a direct QSL the above is absolutely necessary.

The current Canadian postal ratesare: Domestic: $.63, US: $1.10, Other than US and Canada: $1.85.
