W7KAM

Untitled Document

I QSL upon request, no SASE required.

I almost always use "DICK" as my name in contests.

The move from Arizona to Missouri is now complete and the antennas are up.

All contacts from June 01, 2006 to October 21, 2010 for the Arizona contacts have been uploaded to LOTW. QSL cards for these contacts are still available for these contacts upon request.

I have been around a long time first licensed in 1954 as a novice under the call WN9KAM. I also held W9KAM for some time while in Illinois. When I first moved to Green Valley, Arizona I changed my call to KC7GTN. Didn't like that one so I applied for the vanity call W7KAM and now use that call. It was like an old friend returning after a long absence.

Equipment: Kenwood TS-440S running 100 watts into a Cushcraft MA5V vertical antenna with the base mounted10 foot off of the ground. Added a G5RV up about 20 foot off the ground, mainly for use on 40 meters but I find it often times works better than the vertical on the higher bands.  Home Owners Association restrictions don't allow much......
