I also enjoy fishing, mostly saltwater inshore and near shore trips. I have been a ham since 1971. I enjoy weak signal uhf/vhf work and 75/40 meter ragchew. I am active in RACES.

I will also be operating from VO1, Newfoundland, CA, IOTA-NA-027 from time to time during the summers. My NFLD shack is located in Hickman's Harbour, Random Island, NL.

Listen for the weak signal. All I have at this time is a G5RV sloping off the hill behind our house, sloping to the south. I am running a TS-2000 bare foot until my loving wife buys me an amplifier for Christmas and birthday.
