5R     - Eric, F6ICX will be active again as 5R8IC from Sainte-Marie  Island
         (AF-090) from 15 November to 18 December. He will  operate  holiday
         style CW, RTTY and PSK63. QSL via  home  call,  direct  or  bureau.

6W     - Stan, EI6DX (www.ei6dx.com) will participate in the  CQ  WW  DX  CW
         Contest as 6V7Y. Outside the contest he will operate holiday  style
         as 6W/EI6DX, typically during his evenings and nights  on  160,  80
         and 30 metres CW. QSL via RX3RC, direct or bureau.
9L     - Roger, G3SXW and the Voodoo Contest Group will participate  in  the
         CQ WW DX CW  Contest  as  9L5VT  from  Sierra  Leone.  This  year's
         project is dedicated to Vince, K5VT, who became  SK  recently.  QSL
         via G3SXW and LoTW. [TNX NG3K]
C6     - Fred KE7X (C6AKX), Kenny K2KW (C6ATA) and Tom N6BT (C6ARR) will  be
         active  from  Eleuthera  (NA-001),  Bahamas  on  20-29    November,
         including single band entries (20, 40  and  160m  respectively)  in
         the CQ WW DX CW Contest. QSL all via WA4WTG. [TNX NG3K]
C6     - Bob N4BP (C6AKQ), Tim N4UM (C6ARU)  and  Mike  K4RUM  (C6AUM)  will
         operate from Freeport (NA-080), Bahamas from 30 November through  7
         December, ARRL 160 Meter  contest  included.  Look  for  C6AKQ  and
         C6AUM primarily on CW, while C6ARU will concentrate on the  digital

CE     - Members of the Radio Club de Copiapo (CE1CPI)  will  be  active  as
         XR33M  throughout  November  and  December.  The  special  callsign
         celebrates the rescue of the 33 miners who were trapped in the  San
         Jose mine for 69 days. Look for activity  on  15,  20,  40  and  80

CN     - EA5BLJ,  EA5CP  and  EA5YU  will  be  active  as   5C5T  from   the
         Association Royale des Radio Amateurs  du  Maroc's  (ARRAM)  HQ  in
         Rabat on 25-28  November.  They  will  operate  CW  only  on  80-10
         metres, including a Multi-Single entry in the CQ WW DX CW  Contest.

CN     - Alfredo, IK7JWX and others are planning an IOTA expedition to  take
         place from Herne Island (AF-068) between 1  and  5  February  2011.
         The needed authorization as well as a special  callsign  have  been
         applied for through the Association Royale des  Radio  Amateurs  du
         Maroc. Further information is expected to be found  in  due  course

CT7    - The Algarve STAR DX Team  (http://algarvedx.com)  will  be  QRV  as
         CR6A from Sardao Lighthouse on 13-14 November.  They  will  operate
         CW, SSB and RTTY on 80-15 metres, and will participate in  the  WAE
         DX RTTY Contest. QSL via CT1GFK. [TNX CT1GFK]
EA     - Francois, ON4LO says he will be active as EA1/ON4LO/p from  various
         Spanish lighthouses between 20 and 30 November. He  also  plans  to
         go and operate from Arosa Island (EU-080) during that  time  frame.
         He will operate SSB on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres.
FS     - Look for FS/K9EL and FS/K9NB to be active from St. Martin  (NA-105)
         from 25 November to 1 December, including a "casual entry"  in  the
         CQ WW DX CW Contest. They  plan  to  be  QRV  on  160-6  metres  as
         conditions permit, with a primary  focus  on  CW  and  SSB  &  RTTY
         "possible". QSL via home calls. [TNX K9EL]
HC     - A Swedish team from Contest Club SK6M along  with  HC2A  and  HC2SL
         will take part in the CQ WW DX CW Contest  as  HD2M  from  Ecuador.
         Before and after the contest, from 22 November to 4 December,  look
         for HC2/SM7BUA, HC2/SM6FKF, HC2/SM6LJU, HC2/SM6MCW  and  HC2/SM0COP
         to focus on the low bands, 30, 17, 12 metres  and  RTTY.  QSL  HD2M
         via  SM6FKF,  others  via  home  call.  Further   information    at

HK0    - Gerd, DL7VO will be active as HK0GU/1 from  Isla  Pirata  (SA-040),
         Colombia on 17-21 November  and  then  as  HK0GU  from  San  Andres
         Island (NA-033) from 22  November  to  2  December,  CW  WW  DX  CW
         Contest included. His preferred modes are  CW  and  RTTY.  QSL  via
         DL7VOG,  direct  or  bureau.  He  plans  to  post  his   logs    to

I      - Special callsign IR0XNM will be in use between 15 and 21  November,
         including the  30th  INORC  Contest  (20-21  November,  details  at
         www.inorc.it/it/attivita/contest-e.html). The special  call  is  in
         remembrance of  Nicola  Mastroviti,  IT9XNM,  the  founder  of  the
         Italian Naval Old Rhythmers Club (INORC), who  passed  away  on  25

JD1_oga- Look for JD1BLY (QSL via JI5RPT) and JD1BMH (QSL via JG7PSJ) to  be
         active  from  Chichijima  (AS-031),  Ogasawara  on  24   December-3
         January and  30  December-8  January  respectively.  They  plan  to
         operate CW, SSB and digital modes on 160-10 metres,  with  a  focus

PJ6    - Dick K5AND, Pat W5OZI and George K5TR  will  be  active  from  Saba
         (NA-145) from 22 June to 6 July  2011.  This  will  be  a  6  Metre
         expedition from a QTH "with perfect take off to the US, EU, AF  and
         most of SA". The plan is to operate CW on  50106  khz  and  SSB  on
         50118 khz, and to be on  JT65  during  moonsets  and  moonrises  on
         50190 khz. Callsign and further  information  is  expected  in  due

PJ7    - Joe,  KC0VKN  will  be  active  as  PJ7/KC0VKN  from  Sint  Maarten
         (NA-105) on 18-23 December. CW is his referred mode, and  he  plans
         to operate holiday style, probably on  40-10  metres  depending  on
         operating times and openings. [TNX KC0VKN]
S7     - Noboru/JA2AAU (S79AU), Iwao/JA2LSS  (S79SS),  Seiji/JA2ATE  (S79TE)
         and  Tug/JA2ZS  (S79ZS)  will  be  active  from   Mahe    (AF-024),
         Seychelles on 19-27 November. They plan to operate  CW,  SSB,  RTTY
         and PSK on 160-6 metres. QSL via  home  calls,  direct  or  bureau.

UA_ant - Alex Turkeev, RD1AV (ex RV1ZC) is heading to  Antarctica  and  will
         be active as RI1ANC from Vostok station throughout  2011.  He  will
         operate CW, SSB and digital modes on all bands, 160 and  80  metres
         included. In mid-December he  might  operate  for  a  few  days  as
         RI1ANC/A from  Molodezhnaya  station.  QSL  via  RN1ON,  direct  or

V7     - The V73RRC operation from Ujelang Atoll (OC-278, new  one)  [425DXN
         1015] has been rescheduled to take place in  Decemebr.  The  vessel
         "Lady E" will leave Majuro on the 1st and the  return  flight  from
         Enewetak is planned for the  16th,  "so  activation  of  OC-278  is
         somewhere in the middle", Yuri, N3QQ says. [TNX DX World]
VP2M   - K3VX, K9CS, K9FO and K9NR will be active from  Montserrat  (NA-103)
         from 23 November to 5 December, including participation in  the  CQ
         WW DX CW and ARRL 160 Meter Contests. Activity is planned on  160-6
         metres  mostly  CW,  with  some  RTTY,  SSB  and  possibly   PSK31.
         Requested callsigns are VP2MVX, VP2MSC, VP2MFO and VP2MNR. QSL  all

VU     - Special callsign AU2JCB will be in use on 40-10 metres SSB  between
         20 November and 5 December to celebrate  the  birthdate  of  Indian
         physicist and radio pioneer Jagadish Chandra Bose.  QSL  direct  to

W      - K9RR and K8GI will be active as K9RR/4 and K8GI/4 from  Santa  Rosa
         Island (NA-142) on  12-14  November,  and  from  St  George  Island
         (NA-085) on 15 November (13.00-20.30  UTC).  The  schedule  may  be
         modified  somewhat  due  to  weather  as  these  will  be   outdoor
         operations. They plan to operate SSB (7160, 14260 and  18128  kHz),
         CW (14040 kHz), RTTY (14082,5 and 18103  kHz)  and  PSK63  (14072,5
         kHz). QSL via home call, direct or bureau (all K8GI/4 QSOs will  be

XE     - The Radio Club Satelite (XE1RCS) will  be  active  as  XF1RCS  from
         Isla Venados in the rare  Sinaloa  State  IOTA  group  (NA-171)  on
         18-21 November. A team of eleven operators will be QRV on  10,  15,
         20, 40 and 80 metres SSB and CW with two  stations.  QSL  via  N7RO

YN     - Cal WF5W (YN2EA), Paul W5PF (YN2PF) and Bill K5WAF (YN2WF) will  be
         active from Nicaragua on 25-30 November, including  a  multi-single
         low power entry  in  the  CQ  WW  DX  CW  Contest  as  H7V.  During
         non-contest periods, they plan  to  have  two  stations  active  on
         10-160 metres SSB, CW, and RTTY  using  their  personal  callsigns.

YV     - The Caracas DX Group is expected  to  operate  as  YW5LF  from  Los
         Frailes Islands (SA-059) on 18-22 November. QSL via DM4TI. [TNX  DX

ZD9    - Dieter, DJ2EH  will  be  active  from  Tristan  da  Cunha  (AF-029)
         between 20 November and 8 December, "if the vessel is on time".  He
         will get his callsign upon arrival, and he  plans  to  operate  CW,
         SSB  and  RTTY  using  a  vertical  for  160-30  metres    and    a
         three-element wire beam. [TNX The Daily DX]
ZF     - Robert, K5PI will operate (also on 60 metres)  as  ZF2PI  from  the
         Cayman Islands (NA-016) in November. "I could be  active  as  early
         as 18 November from Little Cayman, but it's more likely  that  I'll
         be on from 23-26 November from Grand  Cayman",  he  says.  He  will
         participate in the CQ WW DX CW Contest with  the  ZF1A  team.  [TNX

ZL7    - ZL7A is the new callsign that Hiro, JF1OCQ will be using  from  the
         Chatham Islands on 2-9 December  [425DXN  1017].  Hiro  and  Toshi,
         ZL7/W1SY will be QRV on 160-6 metres all modes.  QSL  ZL7/W1SY  via
         JE1SYN,  QSL  ZL7A   via    JF1OCQ.    Further    information    at

ZL8    - The main group will join the advance party already in  Auckland  on
         14 November.  The  whole  ZL8X  team  expects  to  depart  Tauranga
         harbour on Monday evening, and to reach Raoul  Island  on  Thursday
         morning. Check www.kermadec.de regularly for updates.  As  for  the
         QSL, the manager is DJ2MX (direct or bureau), but the  use  of  the
         Online  QSL  Request  System  (OQRS,  to  be  activated   on    the
         expedition's website after the expedition) is encouraged.

PACIFIC TRIP ---> IK1PMR, K6SRZ, LA9SN, N6TQS and PA3LEO will be  active  as
ZK2A  from Niue (OC-040)  from 20 November to 3 December,  and as VK9NN from
Norfolk Island (OC-005)  on 5-19 December. They plan  to have  four stations
with a  focus on Europe and an emphasis on 160-40m, as well as 30, 18 and 12
metres,  CW  and  RTTY.  QSL  via PA3LEO.  Further information  and  QSLling
