C5     - Pedro, ON7WP will be working on a human aid project in  The  Gambia
         and be active C5WP on 20-27 March. He will be QRV on 40-10  metres.

CT9    - Peter, G3TKK reports he will be active holiday style  as  CT9/G3TKK
         from Madeira (AF-014) on 12-22 March. He operates  CW  and  digital
         modes. QSL via home call.
FS & PJ- Andy, DK5ON will be active from either Saint Martin (FS/DK5ON)  and
         Sint Maarten (PJ7/DK5ON) on 10-29 March. He plans to  operate  SSB,
         PSK and RTTY on 80-6 metres. QSL via home call. [TNX NG3K]
H4     - Dom, SQ9KWW and Maggie, H44MK will join  Ralph,  H44RK/H40RK  on  a
         4-week IOTA tour around the Solomon Islands [425DXN 1135]. It  will
         start the first week of June, with  planned  activities  from  IOTA
         groups OC-149, OC-168, OC-047, OC-127 and OC-285 (Stewart  Islands,
         new one  for  IOTA).  A  special  callsign  is  being  applied  for
         (reportedly H40IOTA, but all of the groups  mentioned  above  count
         for Solomon Islands, H44, DXCC wise). They are looking to  take  on
         board one  proficient  CW  operator  for  the  OC-285  leg  of  the

         continue on a solo activation trip to three IOTA groups  in  Temotu
         Province (OC-065, OC-100 and OC-163)  and  two  groups  in  Vanuatu
         (OC-110 and OC-104) as heading back to  Brisbane  (Australia).  All

JD1_oga- Harry, JG7PSJ will  be  active  again  as  JD1BMH  from  Chichijima
         (AS-031), Ogasawara from 22 April to 4 May.  He  will  operate  CW,
         SSB and RTTY on 40-10 metres, plus 80m if possible. QSL via  JD1BMH

KH9    - A DXpedition to Wake Island (OC-053) is  being  organized  to  take
         place in October. Access to Wake is extremely limited and the  time
         frame is dictated  by  transportation  issues.  As  such,  official
         dates have not been set but will be announced as soon as  possible.
         Twelve operators (Lou N2TU,  Craig  K9CT,  Joe  AA4NN,  Joe  W8GEX,
         Jerry WB9Z, Tom  ND2T, Mike K9NW, John K6MM, Hal W8HC,  Carl  K9CS,
         Dick W3OA and Tom N4XP) plan to be QRV with five  stations  on  all
         bands and modes over a 14 day period.  This  operation  combines  a
         DXpedition and a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of a  tragic
         event  occurred  on  the  atoll  during  World  War  II.   Bookmark

LU     - Members of Radio Club Ushuaia (LU8XW) will  operate  as  LT5X  from
         Isla Redonda (SA-049) from around  00:00  UTC  on  23  March  until
         around 15 UTC on the 24th. They plan to run three stations  on  80,
         40, 20, 25 and 10 metres SSB, CW and PSK31. [TNX LU6XV]
LY     - Jonas, LY5A will be active as LY23A from 11 March to  11  April  to
         celebrate the 23rd anniversary of  the  restoration  of  Lithuanian
         independence QSL via LY5A. Information on the LY WPX Trophy can  be

MJ     - Kazu, M0CFW will be active as MJ0CFW from Jersey (EU-013) on  15-17
         March. He will participate in the Russian  DX  and  BARTG  HF  RTTY
         contests. QSL via home call and LoTW. [TNX NG3K]
OE     - The  Amateur  Radio  Section  of  ORF  (the  Austrian  Broadcasting
         Corporation) and the Documentary Archives Radio  Communications/QSL
         Collection will  operate  special  event  station  OE13M  on  19-21
         April. This is an official "International Marconi Day" station  and
         contacts made on 20 April will count for the  IMD  Award.  QSL  via

PJ7    - Look for Randy PJ7/N0TG, Ron PJ7/AA4VK and  Jeff  PJ7/N1SNB  to  be
         active from St Maarten (NA-105) on 15-23 March,  with  a  focus  on
         the higher bands. QSL all callsigns via AA4VK (direct  only).  [TNX

T5    -  Tevfik   Aydin,  TA1HZ   will   be   in  Mogadishu,  Somalia  on  a
         humanitarian mission from 23 March to 4 April. He plans to  operate
         on the HF bands in his spare time, hopefully as T5TC (callsign  not
         assigned yet),  with  activity  also  during  the  CQ  WW  WPX  SSB
         Contest. QSL via home call. [TNX TA1HZ]
V3     - Ron, WB1EAZ and Elaine, KA1UCC will be active as  V31RT  and  V31BE
         from Belize on 13-20 March. They will operate SSB with a  focus  on
         Europe, Oceania and Asia. QSLs direct to WB1EAZ.
VK     - Graham VK3DOG, Keith  VK3FT  and  Tony  VK3TZ  will  be  active  as
         homecall/p from Phillip Island (OC-136) on 15-18 March.  They  will
         be QRV on 160-10  metres,  using  rotatable  dipoles  on  the  high
         bands, full size verticals on 40m and 80m and a  22m-tall  vertical
         array on 160m, with some parasitic elements,  beverages  and  loops

ZL7    - Jim, ZL1LC will  be  active  as  ZL7LC  from  the  Chatham  Islands
         (OC-038) on 14-20 March.  He  will  operate  PSK31  only  on  7035,
         14070, 21070 and 28120 kHz. QSL via EB7DX (direct).
ZS8    - At the end of the day, two radio  amateurs  will  be  part  of  the
         overwintering team on Marion Island and will  be  active  from  May
         2013 to April 2014: Carson, ZR6CWI (ZS8C) [425DXN 1136] and  David,
         ZS1BCE  (ZS8Z),  who  finally  has  been  appointed  as  the  radio
         technician. They are expected to operate SSB and digital  modes  on
         40-10  metres.  QSL  for  both  via  ZS1HF,  who  says  that  "more
         information will be posted on their respective qrz.com  sites  once

INTERNATIONAL MARCONI DAY ---> Organized by the Cornish Radio Amateur  Club,
the International Marconi Day (IMD) is a 24-hour amateur  radio  event  held
annually to celebrate the birth of Guglielmo Marconi (25 April 1874). It  is
not a contest, but an opportunity for amateurs  around  the  world  to  make
contacts with historic Marconi sites  using  HF  communications  techniques.
This year's event will be held on 20 April, from  00.00  UTC  through  23.59
UTC. Details, including information on the relevant Award  Certificates  and
the listing of participating stations, can be found at www.gb4imd.org.uk

T4#RRC ---> All of the recent activities (T48RRC from  NA-218,  T47RRC  from
NA-086, T46RRC & T46T from NA-204) have been  approved  for  IOTA  and  DXCC
credit. The OQRS for either direct  and  bureau  cards  has  been  activated
