BY - Look for Zhang BA3AX/2, Wang BA3CE/2 and Lu BD3AEO/2 to be active

direct or bureau (OQRS on www.g3swh.org.uk) and LoTW. [TNX
         rsgbiota.org]

will operate mainly CW running 100-500 watts into multiband
verticals, and might be joined by a second operator who would
concentrate on SSB. QSL via M0OXO (OQRS for direct and bureau
cards on his website); updates will be posted to
         www.m0oxo.com/dx8dx.html [TNX VK3FY]
E3 - Zorro, JH1AJT started activity as E30FB at 12 UTC on 17 September
and made some 1400 QSOs by 2 UTC on the 19th. He will try to be
QRV as much as possible in his limited spare time until the 22nd
[425DXN 1219], with better signals as the missing amplifier
eventually made it to Asmara. Activity has been on 15 and 20
metres so far, with operations on 17 metres planned during the
weekend. He has no access to the Internet, so logsearch will be
available only when he returns home. "We will also provide OQRS
and LoTW confirmation in due course", JA1TRC says. Zorro does not
expect "a large number of QSOs this time, however, FGC Radio team
will conduct a team DX-Pedition to Eritrea in near future".

will operate CW, SSB and RTTY from E51AND's station. Next they
will join the VK9DLX team on Lord Howe.

Reunion Island (AF-016) from 30 September to 8 October, and from
30 September to 29 October respectively. They will operate CW and
SSB on the HF bands. QSL via home calls. [TNX DX World]

         bureau. [TNX IK6XEJ]
I - Bob, OK2BOB will be active holiday style as IA5/OK2BOB from Isola
del Giglio (EU-028) on 21-28 September. He will operate SSB and CW
mainly on 30, 17 and 12 metres. QSL via home call, direct or
         bureau. [TNX OK2BOB]
JT - Special event station JU80R is active from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

         [TNX JT1CD]
KH6 - Jeff, VA3QSL will be active holiday style as KH6/VA3QSL from Maui

1, which is being held in Albena on 21-27 September. QSL via the
         bureau. [TNX ZS4BS]
OJ0 - On 20 September Juha, OH9MM, and Martti, OH2BH will attempt a
landing on Market Reef to put OJ0AM on the air for one week on all
bands. "They also plan to proceed with an experiment of real and
virtual Amateur Radio coexisting by conducting a first-ever
activity from Market in Virtual Reality".
This operation is part of the celebrations for the Golden Jubilee
the OH-DX-Ring (OH2AM), created back in August 1964 by "a bunch of
schoolboys" whose idea was "to form a club focusing on DX and
contests and reaching out beyond the borders of their own
country". Read the "Recap of OH-DX-Ring" on www.qrz.com/db/OJ0AM,
and expect also OH0AM (Aland Islands) and OF2AM to appear on the
bands during the next coming weeks. QSLs via OH2BH, with "special
certificate size combo OF2AM/OH0AM/OJ0AM QSL cards for those
contacting all three stations". [TNX OH2BH]
OZ - Mike, DG5LAC will be active holiday style as OZ/DG5LAC from Romo
Island (EU-125) from 27 September to 3 October. He will be QRV on
80-10 metres SSB. QSL via home call, bureau or direct, plus LoTW
         and eQSL. [TNX rsgbiota.org]
PJ7 - A team of five operators plans to be active from IOTA group NA-247
(St.Maarten's coastal islands, new one) in late September/early
October. Complete information is expected in due course. [TNX DX
         World]
VK9L - In less than four weeks VK9DLX will be QRV from Lord Howe Island
[425DXN 1210]. The main team will arrive on 12 October, but some
team members will arrive a few days earlier. SP5XVY will arrive on
         5 October, DF7TH on the 9th, DJ5IW and DJ2HD on the 10th. So don't
         be surprised if you hear VK9DLX some days  earlier  than  expected;
the main focus of this advance operation will be RTTY. The website
for the DXpedition is at www.lordhowe2014.org.

SAC 2014 ---> Organized by the Nordic Amateur Radio Union, the Scandinavian
Activity Contest's aim is for Scandinavian stations to work as many
non-Scandinavian stations as possible and vice versa. Scandinavian stations
are defined as located in the Aland Islands, Denmark, Faroe Islands,
Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Jan Mayen, Market Reef, Norway, Svalbard and
Sweden. The dates and times for this year's contest (SAC) are:
CW 20-21 September (12 UTC to 12 UTC)
SSB 11-12 October (12 UTC to 12 UTC)
Complete information of the SAC events can be found at www.sactest.net.

W1AW WAS ---> Look for ARRL Centennial stations W1AW/5 from New Mexico and
W1AW/7 from Idaho to be on the air starting at 00.00 UTC on 24 September
until 23.59 UTC on the 30th. Complete information on the ARRL Centennial
QSO Party can be found at www.arrl.org/centennial-qso-party.

YJ0X ---> "Everything is on schedule for our arrival in Vanuatu on October
3rd", the team reported on 15 September (http://yj2014.wordpress.com/). "We
hope to have at least two of the stations working and at least one aerial
up for that evening. The emphasis the next day will be installing the
contest band antennas all ready for the Oceania DX contest SSB leg later on
that day. Soon after the contest, we'll be adding the WARC band antennas
and 6m set-up, and when time permits the 160m antenna. We will be looking
for openings to South America and Africa, the two continents most needing
YJ for a new one, so if you're outside these areas, please QRX for the very
short time it will take to work through callers. Regarding the Oceania SSB
and CW legs, Clublog real-time uploads will be switched off during this
time and uploaded soon after the contest ends".
