9L     - The March 2017 9L1T DXpedition  to  Sierra Leone [425DXN 1358]  has
         been cancelled as  the  licence  has  been  revoked  "for  security
         reason". [TNX IK7JWY]
A2     - Neven, LZ1COM will be active as A25NPD from Botswana on 14-16 July.
         He will operate SSB on 20 and 40 metres between 18 and 22 UTC.  QSL
         via home call. [TNX The Daily DX]
EA     - Special callsign AM25FEDIEA is active on 1-31 July to celebrate the
         25th  anniversary  of  the  Federacion  Digital  EA.  Also, Spanish
         stations are allowed  to  use  special  prefixes  during  the  same
         period: EA# stations can use AM#25, EB# stations can use AN#25  and
         EC# stations can use AO#25.
G      - Once again the RSGB HQ team will participate in the IARU  HF  World
         Championship (8-9 July)  as  GR2HQ  from  different  DXCC  Entities
         within the UK. All GR2HQ QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW a few  weeks
         after the contest, with the correct DXCC entity shown (G, GJ, GM or
         GW). Paper QSL cards via  M0OXO's OQRS.  Information  on the awards
         for working GR2HQ can be found at http://gr2hq.webs.com/.
HA     - HG17FINA, HG17WWW a nd  other  eleven  special  callsigns  (HG17BF,
         HG17BT, HG17DA, HG17HA  and HG17VT,  plus HG17DV,  HG17HD,  HG17OW,
         HG17SW, HG17SY and  HG17WP  representing  the various  disciplines)
         will be  active  between  14 and 30 July  for  the  17th FINA World
         Aquatics Championships to be  held in Budapest.  QSL via operator's

I      - Alessio, IV3GDE and a large group of operators will be active  from
         the island of Santa Maria di Barbana (EU-130)  on 28-30 July.  They
         will be QRV on 80-10 metres as II3IOTA  (SSB, CW and digital modes)
         and as II3Y during the  IOTA Contest (SSB and CW).  QSL II3IOTA via
         IV3CTT (direct or bureau),  QSL II3Y via IV3OSC (direct or bureau).

KH2    - JI3ERV, JE6HIB and JR7OMD will be active as AH2R from Guam (OC-026)
         on 7-11 July.  Main  activity  will  be  during  the  IARU HF World

PY     - Martin, LU9EFO will be active as PY8/LU9EFO  from  Ilha de Cotijuba
         (SA-060) on  10-15 July.  QSL  via  F4BHW  (direct)  or  PT2/LU9EFO

UA     - The RI0Z IOTA DXpedition  to  the  Komandorskiye  Islands  (AS-039)
         [425DXN 1365] has been  cancelled  owing  to  insuperable transport
         problems  that emerged  when  the  team  had  already assembled  in
         Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
UA     - The RI0C IOTA DXpedition  to  Iony Island (AS-069) [425DXN 1356] is
         confirmed to be QRV  on  18-22 July, weather  and local  conditions
         permitting.  "If on the first day  our signal  will be weak - don't
         worry", RA1ZZ says.  "We will need some time  to drag equipment  to
         the top of the island on steep rocks and to supply  the directional
         antennas". Five operators (R7AL, RA1ZZ, RK8A, RW5D and UA3LMR) will
         run two stations  on  40, 30, 20, 17,  15  and  10 metres  CW, SSB,
         digital modes and  satellite.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS; traditional
         cards via R7AL (direct). Follow the team's progress and track their

V2     - Bill, KG4ZXN will be active holiday  style  as  V21XN  from Antigua
         (NA-100) "during the middle of July".  He will operate SSB, CW  and

VE    -  VY2PLH  is  a  special   callsign  dedicated  to   operations  from
         lighthouses on  Prince Edward Island (NA-029).  Next activity  will
         take place on 14-16 July from Point Prim Lighthouse.  Expect VY2PLH
         to operate SSB  and  PSK31  on  the  HF bands.  QSL via VY2GF. [TNX

VK     - Craig, VK5CE will be active again as  VK5CE/p  from  Granite Island
         (OC-228) on 10 July.  He expects to be  QRV on 20 metres  between 4
         UTC and 7.30 UTC, looking for North America  and Asia on  the short

W      - Once again Jon, WB8YJF will be active  as  WB8YJF/4  from  Ocracoke

IARU HF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ---> The object of  the  contest  is  to  contact
other amateurs around the world  - especially member-society HQ stations and
IARU officials - in as many ITU zones as possible on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and
10 metres CW and SSB.  This year's event (www.arrl.org/iaru-hf-championship)
will  run from  12 UTC on 8 July until  12 UTC on the 9th.  The following is

BAKER ISLAND --> "The  Dateline DX Association  (most recently the K4M team)
is very pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Pacific Islands
Refuges & Monuments Office of the US Fish and Wildlife Service to  pursue an
Amateur Radio expedition to Baker Island National Wildlife Refuge (KH1).  We
will announce  dates of  activation and  other pertinent  information once a
vessel has been selected and approval of  said vessel and dates is  approved
by the Service". The co-leaders for the DXpedition are N1DG, N4XP and K6TD.

CLUB LOG'S MOST WANTED LIST ---> The latest  Most Wanted List, generated  on
1  July  is  available  at   https://secure.clublog.org/mostwanted.php.  The
information is derived  from   QSOs  uploaded  to  Club Log (currently 435.5
million log entries available for analysis) and, to  improve  quality,  only
QSOs that have QSLs confirmed are  considered to be worked.  The most wanted
charts are rebuilt once per month, on average.

E6AG ---> The  website  for  VK5GR's  14-25 September  operation  from  Niue
[425DXN 1365] is now up and running at http://e6ag.net.

QSL GALLERY ---> The large collection of QSL cards  on  Les  Nouvelles  DX's
web site has been updated. Fifteen different galleries include 14,829  cards
for the  ten Most  Wanted  DXCC  Entities  (2004-16), the  62  deleted  DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes,  stations  from  Maghreb  from  1945  to  1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-70), special stations  commemorating
ITU and IARU, stations using the United Nations prefix (4U), Antarctic bases
and TAAF (Terres  Australes and Antarctiques Francaises), the various French

BAKER ISLAND --> "The  Dateline DX Association  (most recently the K4M team)
is very pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Pacific Islands
Refuges & Monuments Office of the US Fish and Wildlife Service to  pursue an
Amateur Radio expedition to Baker Island National Wildlife Refuge (KH1).  We
will announce  dates of  activation and  other pertinent  information once a
vessel has been selected and approval of  said vessel and dates is  approved
by the Service". The co-leaders for the DXpedition are N1DG, N4XP and K6TD.

CLUB LOG'S MOST WANTED LIST ---> The latest  Most Wanted List, generated  on
1  July  is  available  at   https://secure.clublog.org/mostwanted.php.  The
information is derived  from   QSOs  uploaded  to  Club Log (currently 435.5
million log entries available for analysis) and, to  improve  quality,  only
QSOs that have QSLs confirmed are  considered to be worked.  The most wanted
charts are rebuilt once per month, on average.

E6AG ---> The  website  for  VK5GR's  14-25 September  operation  from  Niue
[425DXN 1365] is now up and running at http://e6ag.net.

QSL GALLERY ---> The large collection of QSL cards  on  Les  Nouvelles  DX's
web site has been updated. Fifteen different galleries include 14,829  cards
for the  ten Most  Wanted  DXCC  Entities  (2004-16), the  62  deleted  DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes,  stations  from  Maghreb  from  1945  to  1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-70), special stations  commemorating
ITU and IARU, stations using the United Nations prefix (4U), Antarctic bases
and TAAF (Terres  Australes and Antarctiques Francaises), the various French
DXCC island Entities in the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Americas
(from 1945 to 1970), pre-1945  countries, French Departments and CONUS, plus
a gallery for cards not accepted  by DXCC. Your participation is encouraged:
