9A      - Special event station 9A08P will be  active on all bands and  modes
          through 31 December in celebration of  the city of Djurdjevac.  All
          QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau. [TNX 9A2JK]
9A      - Tom, 9A2AA  will be  active as  either  9A2AA/p and  9A73AA/p  from
          Korcula Island  (EU-016)  on 26-29  April.  He might  also  go  and
          operate from one or more nearby islands. [TNX 9A2AA]
A5      - Torben, OZ1TL says  his activity from  Bhutan [425DXN  873] is  now
          scheduled to take  place on 2-15  May. He  will operate  99% CW  as
          A52TL. QSL via OZ1TL. Torben might be joined by Sarath, VU3RSB, who
          operates mainly digital modes.
FR/G    - Didier, F5OGL announced  that the Glorioso  operation [425DXN  881]
          has been postponed  until late  September or  early October,  after
          "important infrastructure works" on the island are done. The  press

GU      - Russell, G5XW will be active as  GU5XW/p from Guernsey (EU-114)  on
          26 April. He plans to operate mainly on 12 metres SSB and some  QRS

HB9     - Luciano, HB9FBI and Augusto, HB9TZA will  operate as HB2008RL/p  on
          26  April,  before  and  during  the  Helvetia  Contest.   Complete

HP      - JA6REX will be active from Panama as follows:
          27-28 April   HP4/JA6REX   Bocas del Toro Archipelago (NA-088)
          1-4 May       HP8/JA6REX   Penonome (mainland)
          6-7 May       HP2/JA6REX   San Blas Archipelago (NA-170)

HP      - Tom, W4JKC  will be  active again  as HP4/W4JKC  from Colon  Island
          (NA-088) on  5-10 May.  He plans  to operate  SSB and  CW on  40-10
          metres. QSL via home call. [TNX www.rsgbiota.org]
JA      - Look for  JS6RRR  and JI3DST/JS6  to  be  active  from  Miyako-Jima
          (AS-079, JIIA  AS-079-005) between  26 April  and 7  May. Two  side
          trips to Ikema-jima (AS-079-001)  and Kurima-jima (AS-079-003)  are

JD1_oga - Koji, JI1LET will be active as JI1LET/JD1 from Chichijima (AS-031),
          Ogasawara on 1-5 May. He plans to  operate SSB, CW and RTTY on  40,
          30, 17, 15,  12, 10  and 6  metres. QSL  via home  call, direct  or

JT      - A new callsign has been issued to Nicola, I0SNY for his forthcoming
          activity from  Mongolia  [425DXN 885].  Expect  him to  be  signing
          either JT1SNY and  - when in  Bayankhongor - JT8SNY.  QSL via  home
PY      - Special  callsign  PY100JA  will  be  aired  through  December   to
          commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigration
          to Brazil. QSLs will  be available after  September, via bureau  or
          direct via PY2PA. [TNX NG3K]
TA      - Metin/TA1ED (SSB), Nuri/TA3BN (CW)  and Arif/TA1EE (digital  modes)
          will be  active with  three stations  as YM0TA  from Bogsak  Island
          (AS-123) between 30 April and 5  May. QSL via  TA1ED. The web  page

TK      - Thierry/F4TTR,    Bruno/F5AGB,    Bernard/F9IE,    Jean-Paul/F8BJI,
          Jean-Luc/F6BIV and  Laurent/F1JKJ  will  be  active  as  TK7C  from
          Corsica (EU-014) on  3-10 May.  They plan  to operate  CW, SSB  and
          digital modes with three  stations on 80-10  metres. QSL via  F9IE,

VE      - The Nanaimo Amateur Radio Association  (VE7NA) on Vancouver  Island
          (NA-036) will be  active as VE7NARA  on 1-30 May  to celebrate  the

ZF      - Gerd, DL7VOG  will  be active  as  ZF2GU from  the  Cayman  Islands
          (NA-016) from 28 April to 14 May. He will operate CW and RTTY, plus

WORLD ROBINSON CUP 2008 --->  The Russian Robinson  Club sponsors the  "World
Robinson Cup" for contacting stations operating from islands between 1  April
and 30 September 2008. The national island programmes considered by WRC  2008
are BIA (Belarus), CIsA (Canada), DIA (Denmark), DIB (Brazil), DICE  (Chile),
DIE (Spain),  DIFM and  DIFO (France),  DIP  (Portugal), GIA  (Germany),  IIA
(Italy), IOCA (Croatia),  IOSA (Scotland), JIIA  (Japan), RRA (Russia),  SPIA
(Poland), UIA  (Ukraine),  USIA  (United  States).  Complete  information  is

XV3M ---> Jack, F6BUM has posted the  story with pictures of his recent  IOTA
trip to Vietnam on his web site (http://www.f6bum.net/index_en.html, click on
"AS-185"). He made only 577  QSOs under difficult  circumstances from Con  Co
(AS-185), plus 1018 QSOs from Phu  Quoc (AS-128) and 1094  QSOs from Con  Dao
